Kidney Transplant Followup

After a kidney transplant, regular follow-up care is crucial to ensure the success of the transplant and the overall health of the recipient. Follow-up appointments typically involve frequent visits to the transplant clinic, particularly in the first few months post-surgery. These visits include physical examinations, blood tests, and urine tests to monitor kidney function, detect any signs of organ rejection, and ensure that immunosuppressive medications are working effectively.
