About

Sheeja Varghese is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with 29
years of experience in the health care field. She obtained her
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Oakland University and
completed her Master’s degree in Adult Primary Care and
Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program from Wayne State
University. Her extensive bedside nursing experience includes
working with patients in Medical surgical, Orthopedics, Cardiac
telemetry and Intensive Care Units. Sheeja has also worked as an
adjunct clinical instructor for Nursing students at Oakland
University. She has served as a preceptor to new nurses, Nurse
practitioners and PA students. She has served as the editor in chief
for Medical Intensive Care Newsletter at Beaumont Hospital Troy.
She was nominated for Daisy Award at Henry Ford Macomb
Hospital for her outstanding care and dedication.

Life

Sheeja is happily married and mother to two wonderful boys. In her free time, she
enjoys music, church activities, traveling and spending time with
family and friends. She is a dedicated nurse practitioner with a
desire to provide quality evidenced based medical care to Adults
and Geriatric patients with chronic and acute medical conditions.​
